CA25T Pulse Valve or K2501 Diaphragm Kit? Buy the Correct Baghouse Spare
A practical buyer’s guide for cement-plant procurement managers comparing a complete 1-inch pulse-jet valve with a diaphragm repair kit, including OEM identity checks, interchangeability limits and RFQ requirements.
Two Distinct Cement Baghouse Spare Parts
Procurement Decision Matrix
| Buying question | CA25T complete valve | K2501 repair kit |
|---|---|---|
| Intended purchase | Complete valve including body and pilot assembly, as specified in supplier offer | Diaphragm and spring kit only; not a complete valve |
| Part identity | BRANDO CA25T (aftermarket Goyen-type) | Genuine Pentair Goyen K2501 / M1183B requested |
| Essential engineering checks | Port thread, nominal size, coil voltage/frequency, diaphragm, installation arrangement, pressure | Original Goyen full model, valve series/generation, cover design, elastomer and traceability |
| Interchangeability risk | Do not assume BRANDO equals genuine Goyen without engineering approval | Do not assume compatibility with BRANDO or newer RCAC25 T3/T4 valves |
| Pricing and supply | Quantity/destination-specific written quotation | Quantity/destination-specific written quotation with OEM provenance requirements |
Which Purchase Is Correct for the Failure?
- Confirm the failure first: test the controller output, solenoid, pilot passage, valve seal and compressed-air header pressure. Weak cleaning does not automatically require replacement of any valve.
- If only an original Goyen diaphragm has failed: verify whether the specific valve generation takes K2501 or another kit. For example, K2529 and K2546 serve certain T3 and T4 families respectively; they are not automatically interchangeable.
- If the body, pilot assembly or whole valve needs replacement: quote the complete valve, match thread and electrical specifications, and obtain plant-engineer approval of any proposed alternative.
- Before an order: require a written specification, unit price, promised configuration, freight/Incoterm, delivery, warranty and traceability terms. A photograph alone is insufficient proof of compatibility.
Supplier Qualification Checklist for Cement-Plant Buyers
| 1 · Exact identity | Manufacturer, full part number, revision and original valve/model nameplate; genuine versus aftermarket status disclosed in writing. |
|---|---|
| 2 · Engineering compliance | Dimensions, connections, material, allowable operating pressure, coil rating (where applicable), documentation and required approval. |
| 3 · Authenticity and documentation | If a genuine OEM kit is required, request traceable packaging, source documents and certificates appropriate to the order; do not infer provenance from a stock illustration. |
| 4 · Commercial deliverables | Firm quotation showing quantity, currency, Incoterm, freight, taxes where applicable, payment method, dispatch lead time and warranty. |
| 5 · Delivery and aftersales | Destination and shipping capability, returns procedure, damage/shortage claims handling and named commercial contact, confirmed prior to order. |
Where Can a Procurement Manager Request a Quote?
Infinity for Cement Organization provides independent specification screening and sourcing enquiries for these two references. It is not the original equipment manufacturer or an authorized OEM dealer. Availability, genuine sourcing evidence, final price and delivery are confirmed in a written quotation before any order is accepted.
Provide your company and country, required quantity, full installed part/valve model, photos, specification and delivery deadline. We can assess the completeness of the RFQ and identify any missing compatibility requirements.
