For cement experts, what are you recommendations for dealing with rotary kiln cyclical operation problem?

  1. Possible reasons:
    Ring formation at backend.
    CO generation at kiln inlet.
    Inconsistency in Rawmix.
    CO picks due to unburnt AFR.
    Coal variation in Main firing.
    Disturbed Flame momentum.

    1. The instability in the kiln torque is due to the instability in the temperature of the material that enters the kiln, it may be due to variations in the feeding or in control of the calciner fuel, if stabilize the temperatures in the preheater then the kiln torque will stabilize, of course we need more information to even said other possibles causses.

  2. Fine tune the PC temperature PID
    Run the PC PID with material temperature
    Fine tune the AFR feeding material
