Raw Mill Separator maintenance checklist

 

  O-seap Separator

1- 2 webs inside the separator and the outlet duct have worn out.

2- The air seal have a sever wear and there is part not exist.

3- All separator fixed louvers have a sever wear.

4- The  fixation bolts  between  the  flange  which carrying the  drive  unit  and separator roof have a sever wear.

5- The rubber element of the drive unit coupling is damaged

 

 

Recommendation:

 

1- Patch the worn out sheet metal for the outlet separator duct and webs

2- Replace the air seal completely due to a sever wear.

3- Replace all guide vanes for the separator due to sever wear

4- Replace the bolts which  fix the drive unit flange with separator  roof due to sever wear.

5- Replace the coupling element and erect the missed elements.

6- The  guide  bearing  of separator  must be changed due to damage  and it  is preferable to change the thrust bearing

 

Action has been taken

 

1- The  worn out  parts  in the  outlet  duct and in rotor  supporting  webs have been patched.

2- The coupling elements and bolts that fix the drive unit flange with separator roof have been replaced

3- Both bearing have been changed
