The factors that influence the ball mill production

, the grinding material size. The smaller the size is, the mill production higher, power consumption also will be lower. The opposite is obvious.

, the material is easy to wear.

, the material moisture. For the dry grinding method, the moisture into the mill material on the mill’s production and quality of a great impact; the higher moisture, easy to reduce the efficiency of grinding, mill production will be low. Therefore, the drying is very necessary process.

, the material temperature. If temperature is too high it will plus the impact of grinding friction, reduce the efficiency of grinding, affecting the mill yield. Meanwhile the mill cylinder thermal expansion affect the long-term safe operation of the mill. Therefore, the temperature of the material must be strictly controlled.

, the fineness of finished material requirements. the finer, the lower the yield, on the contrary, the higher the yield.

, grinding process. With the specifications of the ball mill, closed-circuit process output is 15 ~ 20% higher than the open process ; in the closed circuit operation, the appropriate select efficiency and the cycle load rate are important factors in improving mill yield.

, add grinding aids. Some grinding aids will affect the grinding effect, because the commonly used grinding aids are mostly organic substances with strong surface activity, which can be adsorbed on the surface of the material to accelerate the crack propagation in the material crushing and reduce the fine powder bonding together, then it can improve the efficiency of grinding. Our country required dosage should not exceed 1%.
